Manufacturer's description
Elektron Analog Heat +FX is a dynamic sound processor with eight stereo circuits of analog overdrive, multiple digital effects, and modulation. It delivers warm, organic tones with the ability to rearrange effects and 512 user‑preset slots. It is ideal for processing vocals, synthesizers, and mixes in studios or live settings. The compact, steel enclosure (215 × 184 × 63 mm, 1.5 kg) features an OLED screen and Overbridge for DAW integration.
Analog Heat +FX provides eight distortion circuits, a multi‑band filter (7 filter types), a 2‑band EQ, a noise gate, and effects including reverb, delay, chorus, warble, bits, compressor, and bass focus. Modulation is handled by three LFOs and an envelope generator, each with two destinations. CV/Expression inputs allow hands‑free hardware control. Class‑compliant USB audio and MIDI ensure flexibility, while 48 kHz/24‑bit conversion with low noise delivers professional‑grade sound quality.
As a versatile tool, Analog Heat +FX combines analog warmth with digital precision, ready for creative sound manipulation without compromise.
The device includes a “Flow” effects‑chain section, letting you reorder the internal FX blocks freely—so you can place distortion before or after reverb, put the compressor after the filter, or route the entire chain in ways that match your sound‑design workflow. Each of the eight analog circuits brings its own character, from clean boost and tape saturation through tube‑amp‑style drive, crunch, overdrive, distortion, harmonic fuzz, and high‑gain saturation, giving you a wide palette of distortion “colors” without relying on a DAW.
Beyond its eight analog circuits, Analog Heat +FX also acts as a small but powerful 2‑in/2‑out audio interface with MIDI I/O, DIN Sync out, and VESA‑mountable steel chassis, making it easy to integrate into any studio or live rig. With 512 presets, extensive routing options, and a 128×64 OLED screen, it suits both quick live tweaks and deep studio‑based sound design, from subtle warming of a master bus to fully processed, glitch‑laden textures.
