DVINA is the first SOMA electro-acoustic instrument.
It was inspired by Hindustani and Persian classical music but European music can be also played with it, of course. A key feature of DVINA and its sound is that there is no pickup inside. Instead, I take the electric signal DIRECTLY from the strings that vibrate in the strong magnetic field of a neodymium magnet, hidden in the neck. Further, a weak signal from the strings is amplified by a custom-made transformer built into the body of DVINA to a standard level. It is very similar to the principle of a ribbon mic. This solution makes DVINA outstandingly resistant to electromagnetic interferences and makes the sound rich and clean. DVINA’s high output is ready to be directly connected to stomp boxes, guitar amps or an audio interface. DVINA has a minimalistic design – no one part can be removed without loosing the functionality of the instrument.
DVINA’s support has strap locks. So DVINA can be fixed on the artist’s body using the strap.
The DVINA neck and crossbar are made of solid ash, oak or beech and covered with varnishes of various colors, which do not cover, but emphasize the unique pattern of the wood.
The basic DVINA package includes strap locks and an M6 screw for attaching the crossbar to the bar. Bow not included.
DVINA is available in two versions: serial and custom. Serial DVINA is produced in factory conditions in small batches of 30-50 pieces, sold in stores and is available for purchase from the factory warehouse. We have 3 color options: Black, Red and Graphite. DVINA Serial comes in a reliable semi-hard case that protects the instrument well during transportation.
The color, other design options and configurations of the custom DVINA are determined by the Customer in agreement with the master. For example, we can produce DVINA for left-handers. Instead of a semi-hard case, a custom DVINA usually comes with a soft case and tube, which can be used together or separately from each other and thereby create convenience for the user.

European Union orders:
- Standard shipping is free on orders over €100. Express shipping is available on orders over €100, and free on orders over €400.
Poland orders:
- Standard shipping is free on orders over 250 PLN. Express shipping is free on orders over 500 PLN.
What about local taxes?
By default prices on the site include sales tax at 20%. The precise sales tax rate for your country will be calculated at checkout.

- UPS Standard – our default shipping option. Delivery times vary by country (see estimated delivery times below).
- UPS Express Saver – next business day delivery to most EU destinations.

Dispatch times
Orders placed before 15:00 CET (Central European Time) on a working day are normally dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 15:00 CET, or on weekends and public holidays, will be dispatched on the next working day.

If a product is listed as a pre-order, it means we've ordered it from the supplier but it's not physically in stock yet. The product listing will include an estimated shipping date based on the best information we have from the supplier, but do bear in mind this is subject to change and is not a guaranteed date.
If you place an order containing a mixture of in-stock and pre-order items, we'll normally hold off on shipping anything until the pre-order item(s) have arrived, rather than splitting it into multiple shipments.
