We say...

One of the most exciting new synth releases we've seen for a while! The Polyvera nails the glorious vibe of old-school digital hardware but with analogue warmth and clever modern features. If you like your synths to have a bit of grit and character, but want to control exactly how much, this is for you!

Manufacturer's description

Polyvera is a six-voice hybrid synthesizer that fuses the raw, edgy textures of vintage digital hardware with the lush warmth of analog circuitry. Designed and hand-assembled in small batches by Swedish boutique manufacturer Suonobuono, Polyvera offers a unique sonic signature steeped in '80s/'90s character—yet tailored for modern workflows.

Each voice features dual digital oscillators capable of wavetable synthesis or sample playback. With more than 100 factory wavetables, support for user samples/wavetables, and direct audio sampling through its input, Polyvera gives direct access to both pristine tones and beautifully imperfect digital artifacts modeled after legendary early digital synths and samplers.

The oscillators are sculpted through a pair of true analog filters with eight distinct modes, offering everything from buttery smoothness to aggressive saturation. Custom-designed exclusively for Polyvera, they inject unmistakable analog depth and presence into the signal path.

Polyvera’s deep modulation architecture empowers expressive sound design, featuring a sub- oscillator, three envelopes, three syncable LFOs, through-zero FM, filter cross-modulation, phase sync, ring modulation, and more—all accessible with minimal menu diving thanks to its 36 hands-on controls.

Two multi-mode effects processors round out the signal chain, delivering a variety of choruses, phasers, delays, and particularly lush reverbs. These all crafted to complement Polyvera’s sonic identity, not generic DSP presets. These are not generic DSP presets, but custom algorithms that have been explicitly developed to fit Polyvera’s own character.

Polyvera supports MPE and polyphonic aftertouch, allowing for detailed expressive control. It includes a 64-step polyphonic sequencer, an onboard arpeggiator, and 512 preset slots shared between factory content and user patches.

Polyvera is a focused instrument with a bold voice, designed for artists and sound explorers who crave character and inspiration at their fingertips.
